Mason’s Way Service Agreement

By booking any service with Mason’s Way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined below.

1. Services Provided
Mason’s Way offers dog training, walking, hiking, and boarding services, including behaviour modification, obedience training, puppy programs, pack walks, and board-and-train options.

2. Client Responsibilities
   •    Vaccinations: Proof of up-to-date vaccinations (rabies, distemper, parvovirus) is required before services begin. Failure to provide proof may result in cancellation without a refund.
   •    Behaviour and Health Disclosure: Clients must disclose all known behavioural issues (e.g., aggression, reactivity) and medical conditions (e.g., injuries, allergies). Changes to health or behaviour must be reported before services.
   •    Supplies: Clients must provide all necessary items for their dog (e.g., leash, collar, harness, medications).

 

3. Payment and Cancellation
   •    Full payment is required at the time of booking.
   •    Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled service will receive a full refund.
   •    Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows will forfeit the service fee.

 

4. Safety and Liability
   •    Dogs must remain leashed during services unless otherwise instructed.
   •    Mason’s Way carries liability and accident insurance but is not responsible for issues arising from pre-existing injuries, illnesses, or behavioural problems.
   •    Clients agree to indemnify and hold Mason’s Way harmless from claims arising from their dog’s actions.

 

5. Emergencies
   •    In emergencies, Mason’s Way will attempt to contact the client immediately. If unreachable, veterinary care will be sought at the client’s expense.
   •    Clients must provide an emergency contact who can act on their behalf if needed.

 

6. Assumption of Risk
   •    Clients acknowledge that participation in training, walking, hiking, or boarding involves inherent risks, including interactions with other dogs, outdoor conditions, and physical activity. Clients assume full responsibility for their dog’s participation.

 

7. Media Release
   •    Mason’s Way may use photos or videos of dogs for promotional purposes. Clients can revoke this consent in writing.

 

8. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
