Private Pack Social Lesson (120 Minutes)
A 1:1, two-hour social lab with balanced helper dogs.
Service Description
This isn’t a dog park. This is a private, structured social lab. Two hours. Your dog. Hand-picked helper dogs. Clarity over chaos. The Mind Over Muscle™ Private Pack Social Lesson is a 120-minute, one-to-one session at my facility designed to build safe social skills and true neutrality using balanced helper dogs. We use controlled scenarios—calm first, curiosity second, play third—so your dog learns how to meet, read, and move through dog energy without tipping into reactivity or shutdown. You’ll practice leadership that keeps the “Pet Brain” online under rising arousal and leave with a blueprint you can repeat anywhere. Here’s what happens during your session: ✅ Quick readiness check (from prior assessment or pre-screen) and warm-up walk ✅ Threshold read with our 0–10 model to set criteria for each progression ✅ Parallel work to establish lanes, consent checks, and polite approach arcs ✅ First contacts: pass-bys → brief sniffs → step-aways; we avoid sticky greetings ✅ Play-to-calm cycles: play → pause → play to teach landing and self-interruption ✅ “Pressure then peace” reps to build confidence and defuse pushy moments ✅ Group exposure sequencing: 1 helper → 2 helpers → micro-group as readiness allows ✅ Resource neutrality drills: shared water, handler knees, gates, gear, and toys (if appropriate) ✅ Handler coaching on timing, feet, line management, and micro-signals ✅ Clear, written homework: what to repeat this week, what to defer, and when to level up We tailor the helpers to your dog’s learning objective—steady greeters, playful role models, boundary-setters, and soft landing dogs who de-escalate tension. Scenarios may include arrival etiquette, greeting pressure at gates, handler-switch reps, recall away from motion, or ignoring “that one dog” across the fence. This session is not passive. It’s reps, feedback, and clean wins—without flooding. Many clients discover their dog isn’t “antisocial”; they were missing order and pacing. If past socials felt like chasing fires, we’ll show you the recipe instead of the flames. Mind Over Muscle™—less noise, more nerve. 📍Includes: 120-minute private session A PET, RESTED™ primer Threshold & arousal profile update (0–10) Scenario plan (written) with at-home replay steps Safety and handler-skills checklist Behaviour analysis + recommended next sessions Personalized upgrade recommendations This is the bridge. From supervised reps to everyday reliability—with the pack as your teacher.

Yes, a Behaviour Assessment is required before training, walks, or pack services. It helps me evaluate your dog’s energy, behavior, and needs to integrate them safely into any service. This ensures a tailored approach for your dog's specific requirements.
Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance are fully refundable. Within 24 hours or no-shows are non-refundable. Package sessions must be used within the agreed time window and are non-transferable.
Absolutely! I’m here to support you 100% throughout your training journey. The more you engage with me throughout the process, it shows you're willing to do the work, and that excites me! You’re highly encouraged to ask questions, send updates, and share videos between sessions to keep everything on track. I LOVE questions!
Only if your dog has passed their Behaviour Assessment and is ready for structured walks or pack hikes. If there are behaviour concerns, we’ll easily begin with training first to ensure success and safety, while receiving unconditional support from many balanced support dogs.
Absolutely. My private sessions are designed to teach you how to lead your dog, not just train the dog alone. Your involvement is key to long-term success. The more involved you become, the more support you'll receive back, and the faster you will see results, beyond your expectations. Your active participation ensures that the training is effective and lasting.
