Service Description
This isn’t about becoming a “dog person.” It’s about becoming the calmest person in the room—even when dogs are present.
Calm in the Presence of Dogs is a structured mentorship that bridges the gap between canine fear and canine fluency. Whether you freeze, brace, panic, or feel on edge when dogs are around, this 3-session coaching experience gives you the emotional intelligence, energy awareness, and co-regulation tools needed to feel in control.
You’ll work beside Mason or another emotionally grounded helper dog, learning how to decode signals, pace proximity, disengage with calm, and lead your energy like a handler—not a hostage.
From parks to sidewalks to public patios, we walk you through scenarios that once felt scary and turn them into emotional training grounds.
You’ll walk away with better posture, sharper instincts, and a deep trust in your ability to lead your nervous system—no matter how wild the dog energy around you gets.
Neuroscience Insight
When individuals feel out of control in the presence of unpredictable stimuli (like dogs), the amygdala leads. Through co-regulation with grounded canine energy and structured emotional exposure, we shift control to the prefrontal cortex—restoring clarity and cognitive flexibility in fear-loaded moments.
