Service Description

If your puppy bites, chews, gnaws, or redirects when overstimulated—this is where we fix it. Mouth Manners teaches you how to decode bite behaviour as a window into your dog’s emotional world. Whether it’s frustration biting, overarousal chewing, or redirection during play, this 4-session service doesn’t just suppress behaviour—it transforms it.

You’ll learn how to detect pressure signals before the bite, build tolerance through bodywork and touch rituals, and install clear handler feedback that teaches your dog what to do instead of biting.

We don’t rely on corrections or yelping back. We rely on the brain. Calm communication. Predictable redirection...and rituals that stick.

Neuroscience Insight

Puppies use their mouths as sensory outlets, especially when the limbic system overrides prefrontal regulation. Redirecting mouth behaviour requires reducing nervous system arousal and building body resilience—not punishment. With calm, consistent rituals, the puppy's somatosensory system learns safety through predictability and trust.
