Service Description
Most reactivity training starts after the dog explodes. Threshold Tuning steps in before.
This 4 session program teaches you to recognize the subtle signs of stress and overstimulation—before they cross into barking, lunging, or freezing. Using the Mason’s Way framework, we install decompression rituals, emotional check-in cues, and exposure drills that actually teach your dog how to process life in motion.
Whether your dog reacts to dogs, strollers, joggers, or just overstimulation in new environments, we show you how to rebuild calm through clarity—not correction. This isn’t about shutting your dog down. It’s about rewiring how they handle the world.
You’ll gain confidence in public, your dog will gain regulation under pressure, and together you’ll stop chasing calm—and start creating it.
Neuroscience Insight
Reactivity occurs when a dog’s limbic system (Working Brain) hijacks the moment due to overstimulation or pattern recognition. Threshold Tuning uses controlled exposure to stimulate neuroplastic rewiring, allowing dogs to process information cortically instead of instinctively. Pre-threshold rituals shift brain activity from survival response to cognitive curiosity, extending the dog’s emotional window of tolerance.
