Service Description
The treadmill is more than exercise—it’s a neurological recalibration system that teaches your dog how to yield, follow, and co-regulate under pressure.
In this 4 session series, we guide you step-by-step through the process of safely introducing your dog to the treadmill and turning it into a structured, confidence-building ritual.
We’ll cover body awareness, leash responsiveness, rhythm-building, desensitization drills, and how to use the treadmill to support other areas of your dog’s training journey—especially if you’re dealing with reactivity, emotional overflow, or inconsistent energy regulation.
This isn’t about tiring your dog out. It’s about showing them how to stay calm when motion and structure collide.
You’ll leave this series with a fully trained treadmill routine, a dog that moves with purpose instead of panic, and the leadership tools to make it a lifelong asset.
Neuroscience Insight
Treadmill movement activates the same limbic-calming, rhythm-based neural pathways as pack trailing. When guided by a handler, it becomes a co-regulated motion loop that reinforces oxytocin release, mirror neuron activation, and ventral vagal system recovery. It also improves bilateral coordination and pacing—critical for emotional timing.
